In my view, your post reflects 21st century life, a new, modern way of life that requires certain skills and knowledge. I agree with the term "digital citizen" , because by using the internet, we create a new world, with new rules, and we should follow these rules in order not to build a bad reputation. I think that being respectful of others opinion and privacy, being kind and friendly , thoughtful and constructive regarding our actions, we can continue discovering new horizons of life, and, as Chris Betcher said, never stop learning, because Life Never Stops Teaching, with whom I completely agree.

Well-said, Veronica. We are no longer living in a world where we go to the Internet for information, but instead we participate in the creation of information. And it is very praiseworthy for a person to demonstrate good manners online in order to effectively communicate with others.

I totally agree with this article. You have to be very attentive with that kind of words, photos or other things you post in the digital world because this can affect your future. Today if you want to find out some personal information about one of your new relation you can just write his or her name in google or research facebook page. If we are talking about job, in this way a recruiter can easily research information about some candidates for a job, more than a CV can give.

You are absolutely right, Irina. It is important that a person is aware of all his steps and activities online, especially if he intends to find a really good job and to make a good impression. Personal conscientiousness counts a lot not only in real life. In fact, in the digital world it carries far more weight.

Usually I try to follow all the rules in order to be a better person and to be respected by others, because when you are on social-media it is very easy to offend someone, so I think I am a good digital citizen. Also if you leave a negative footprint on social-networks, in the future you may be sorry, because people wouldn't think about you in a good way, this is why I agree with this statement.

I ussually respect the rules of a good digital citizen.I think I need to be more serious and not to post personal videos or photos,to think about consequences. The rules indicated above help us to become an exemplar digital citizen. What about footprints?I also think that if you leave a negative one, you'll have to regret a lot.
