If parents cannot offer the adequate care to children due to some difficult life circumstances, they should speak with a person that is very well informed about this subject, for example a child could be placed in kinship care if he is not in situation of living with his immediate family and if this is not possible a child should be placed with another family in the community, but if none of these care options are possible, a child can be sent to a child care home for the shortest period possible, but a long-term plan should be developed before opting for a child care home.

Wonderful answer, Catalina! I totally agree with you that a child will not be able to fully understand the value which family holds if he grows in an unfamiliar environment and lacks the appropriate and necessary care, the one that his own family could offer to help him develop in an adequate way.

Every child has the right to a safe and happy home, proper education, moral support, mutual understanding, respect and love. The following articles: 22 and 27, where 22 states that a child must have the right to protection and humanitarian assistance. Because a child is vulnerable and has the right to be safe. Whereas article 27 states the right of every child to a standard of living adequate for the child's physical, mental, spiritual, moral and social development. If a person cannot offer the adequate care to children due to some difficult life circumstances he must ensure that the child will benefit from proper care , if not from his immediate family, from a kinship or even a childcare home. As far as I am concerned, the standard of living influences and affects child's physical and mental growth, because the child is vulnerable ,therefore he/she can't fully understand what is right an what is wrong. The main idea of the film is that children have the right to an integral family, where family values are respected and followed, they have the right to be close to their loved ones, the right to a standard of living that is adequate for the childs physical, spiritual, mental, moral and social development.

Well-done ,Veronica! That's so true that having an Integral family would lead to healthy children's growth and development from both physical and mental perspectives. Even if a child can't have the opportunity to live together with his immediate family, it doesn't mean he has to lack all the advantages and benefits of living in a safe and warm environment. We have to try to offer to those orphans the best that we can together with all those actors that facilitate humanitarian assistance and proper accomodation. The more good we will do to them the happier and safer they will feel. They will know that there is someone who really cares and loves them.
